Overview

A snippet manager and sharer. Store your code collections, manage them from a dashboard, and share publicly — with syntax highlighting and snippet-to-image export.

Problem

Code snippets scatter across gists, notes, and DMs. And most apps trust the client for authorization, which leaks data the moment a check is missed.

Approach

  1. 01

Delegate authorization to Postgres row-level security so the database — not app code — is the source of truth.

  2. 02

Isolate all Supabase calls inside a thin API layer (src/lib/api/*) to minimize vendor lock-in.

  3. 03

Optimistic UI updates via TanStack Query for instant-feeling edits.

  4. 04

Syntax highlighting and snippet-to-image export for sharing.

Outcome

  • Authorization that can't be bypassed from the client — enforced at the row level.
  • Snappy dashboard with optimistic updates and server-state caching.
  • Deployed on Vercel with full auth flows.
